This itinerary which crosses very varied environments, alley of boxwood, limestone scree, forest of deciduous trees and pines, pastoral space, offers remarkable views on the "pog" of Montségur, the village and the "Roc de la Tour".

Leave the path to the right of the camp site of Montsegur
Take the Sentier des Bonshommes (white and red markings) in the direction of the Moulin (Mill). Continue along the path to the right of the camp site (markings white and red), this descends, twisting amongst the worked (farmed) fields. Arrive at a tarmack road, cross it and rejoin the river “Lasset
Reclimb the path leaving the “Sentier des Bonshommes(follow take the path left ( marked in yellow)” in the direction of “Taulat”. Pass the bridge (marked yellow and blue) take the path left (marked blue and yellow) this crosses the Wood known as “Contaillou”. On the border of the pathway you will discover an ancient hot oven (large circular hole about 4 meters in depth and 2meters in diameter.
Follow the pathway in the boxwood arriving at an area of fallen earth the “Pas du Cristoulet” (a beautiful view of the village, the chateau, and the “Roc de la Tour). Leave the boxwood area on your left and re enter the Wood, arriving at “Place Grazeille” and goes directly eastwards. Descend again and after a few minutes arrive at a vast circular depression; Here the path turns off to the right heading directly south along the flank of the Roc de la Mousse.
Descend to Montsegur and refind the pathway heading to the Moulin.
