The start is in the centre of the village of Montaut, at the porch. Follow the sign "savonnerie" which leads you downhill. After 500 m, at the end of the descent, turn right and not straight ahead, then left and straight ahead. You will pass the farm of "Gaillardet" and continue straight on to arrive at "Porteteny" "la Boutique de l'écureuil". The visit to the soap factory (by appointment) lasts about 1 hour.
Main circuit: 12 km For the return journey, follow the path in the opposite direction for 300 m, then turn left, arriving at Crieu, then continue to the right until you leave the hamlet. After 100 m, turn right. You will pass through "Loubès-vieux", "Guillouty", "Capet" where you will turn right, and at the crossroads go straight on to Montaut which is then on your right.
