Location complements
Servant is 61 km north-north-west of Clermont-Ferrand. Departure sign and car park at Place de l'église.
Reception complements
For your own safety, always take a bottle of water, a hat, warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
Depending on the weather conditions, some routes are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked paths. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your rubbish.

Departure point: From Place de l'Eglise, walk down Rue de la Liberté, then left onto the D18 and right into Passage de l'Aigue.
Turn right onto the road and after 100m turn left towards the lake. At the fork, turn right and continue left along the small road. Walk alongside the restaurant, leaving a track on the right and taking the next one. Continue between the campsite and the football pitch. Go past the entrance to the campsite and, just after it, take the path down to the right to reach the lake.
Turn left and follow the dyke to the crossroads.
1 - Turn left. At the road, turn left and take the first track on the left. At the crossroads in the hamlet, go straight ahead and turn onto the first road on the right. Follow this road for 600m. Leave the hamlet of l'Etang on your right. At the crossroads, take the track on the right as far as the first grassy track on the right.
2 - Follow this to the village of Crozet. Turn left onto the small road and then right at the crossroads. At the end of the hamlet, on the bend, take the track on the right and go as far as a road.
3 - At the road, turn right and take the second track on the left. Continue for 800 m (view of Servant).
At the junction with a tarmac track, turn left. At the crossroads, turn left onto the road and at the crossroads, turn left onto a track. Go up to a road, turn right and then immediately left onto Rue des Rochers.
At the crossroads, follow the route du Presbytère back to the starting point.

Yes. Dogs must be kept on a lead because of the presence of herds.
