Safety rules
- Check the weather forecast before you leave.
- Avoid going alone. Let someone know that you are leaving and the planned route.
- Remember to drink, eat and take breaks throughout the hike.
Equipment
- Wear good shoes and suitable clothes for the mountains.
- Don't forget to take: sun cream, a hat/cap, sunglasses, warm clothes and rain gear, as well as a mobile phone in case of problems.
- Take an IGN map with you. This map is given as an indication, it does not replace the IGN maps.
Best practices
- Stay on the marked paths and avoid the hayfields.
- Respect the environment.
- Watch out for herds, keep your dog on a lead.
- Take your rubbish away with you.

1/ Set off from Pierre Borrione nursery school.
2/ At the start sign, take the path that climbs up to the road.
3/ Cross the road and go down 100m to take the path on your left (after the car park)
4/ Follow the path into the forest. It will take you to the first information board.
5/ Follow the footpath that climbs and keep going until you reach the other boards or blocks.
6/ When you get to the bench, follow the path that goes down. It will take you to Villarolland.
7/ Walk 200m along the road then take Les Ziguelettes path.
8/ At the intersection, go left on 'Chemin des Plantées'.
9/ Turn right after the first house
10/ Take the first left and follow the Chemin des Ecoles.
