This museum offers the discovery of the history of the city through its most illustrious natives: Clement Ader, father of Aviation, Adolphe Niel, Maréchal of France, Vincent Auriol, President of the IV Republic, Nicolas Dalayrac, composer but also the one behind the development of archaeology in Muret and the battle of Muret. Various events organized regularly are used to occasionally highlight its rich local heritage, while being linked with major national events (night of the museums, heritage days...).

- With your back to the station, take the pedestrian crossing opposite boulevard Edgar Faure, go straight on until avenue Pierre II d'Aragon, turn left and then right into rue Frédéric Mistral. At the end of this street, turn left into avenue Jacques Douzans, cross the first pedestrian crossing and then turn right into avenue de Lattre de Tassigny. Continue straight on until you reach the 2 umbrella pines, take the path on the right and enter parc Jean Jaurès. Mont
- Go up the stairs to the Clément Ader museum, take the footbridge over the Louge, and on the right, the old mill on the Louge (the Turbine). Opposite, take the passage de la Ligue (on the left, a half-timbered house). On Place de la République, go up to Rue C. Ader (media library on the right), turn left in front of Saint-Jacques church and cross the two squares. Turn left around the tourist office and continue along the allée Niel towards the Garonne, as far as the Jets d'Eau roundabout.
