From Le Bouchet-Mont-Charvin, follow the road towards Col de l'Épine for about 600 m, then take the road on the left towards Banderelle and Mont-Charvin. Climb this hard 6 km to reach the Sardoches parking lot.

1/ From the Les Sardoches parking lot, take the tarmac road you arrived on, following Chalet de l'Arpeyron over the Col du Fer to Mont-Dessus. 2/ Climb towards La Greubaz. 3/ At the Col du Fer, return to the starting point by the same route.
