This short yet diverse route truly offers “the best of both worlds”: start with a charming ride through the historic town of Bouillon, then follow the peaceful Semois River through a beautiful stretch of woodland before climbing up to the scenic viewpoints overlooking the town.
The 13 km route runs mostly along quiet, paved roads. Only the climb from junction 45 up to Curfoz includes a short 1.5 km gravel section, which adds a bit of challenge but remains enjoyable for most cyclists. A pleasant loop, perfect for families or leisure riders, as long as a touch of gravel doesn’t discourage you.
Food & drinks: plenty of options await in Bouillon, where you can also explore several local attractions. Be sure to stop by the Maison du Tourisme for more information and inspiration before your ride.
