Discover the Domaine de la Solitude in Laon!

A real curiosity: now in a state of disrepair, the few buildings that adorn the entrance to the estate are truly astonishing; as you continue along the main bank, you can even see the remains of what looked like a kind of belvedere from which to observe the water. Come closer and take a closer look: there are many architectural elements borrowed from Art Nouveau here, with these ornaments imitating plants... The best way to get to Domaine de la Solitude is to park in front of the tennis courts in the Ardon district, and then take Allée Lucien Bocquet.

A 26-hectare natural area awaits you in the lower town of Laon, with this pond that you can walk all the way round: it's a great opportunity to spot kingfishers and black woodpeckers, and listen to the chorus of tree frogs!
