The domaine of Vort

On the banks of the Allier, this walk takes you through the undergrowth and offers pretty unobstructed views of the Issoire basin, you can see the village of Saint-Yvoine and the plain of Lembron.

Starting point - From the starting sign, turn right onto the road until you reach the railway. Go down the road on the right, go under the bridge and continue on the left between Allier and the railway. At the road, go under a bridge and go to a crossroads.

1 - Go up the road on the left, cross Perthus Haut and continue until you reach the first house in La Ribeyre.

2 - Go up on the left, always straight ahead, a wide path leading to a road. Follow it up for 100 m, then leave it to continue the ascent on a small asphalt road in the village of Naves, until you reach a crossroads.

3 - Go up on the left and always ignore the paths on the right. Reach a flat area (view of the Livradois, the small Limagne and Issoire, the Cézallier and the Sancy massif) and continue on a balcony path ignoring the paths on the right until you reach a crossroads of four paths.

4 - Go down to the left by a wide path (view on the Sancy massif and the Puys chain) and join the Domaine de Vort.
