For your own safety, always take a bottle of water, a hat, warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
Depending on weather conditions, certain itineraries are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked trails. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your garbage.
Animals are not allowed on some routes.
1/ From the start sign, walk past the town hall. Turn left at the fork, join the road and follow it to the Vernine junction. Turn right, pass the farm and enter the woods. Go straight ahead, ignoring the left and right paths. At the fork in the road, turn right and descend to a wide path (signposted).
2/ Turn left along the Tyx. At the top of a small hill, leave a track on your left and continue straight ahead. Pass Le Mas and continue to the entrance to Meneix.
3/ Turn right onto a tarmac road. At the fork after the farmhouse, go down to the right, cross the bridge over the Tyx, and go up the other side to a fork in the woods.
4/ Turn left, and continue straight on out of the woods to a cross-country track.
5/ Take this to the right. At an intersection, continue straight ahead along a coniferous plantation to a T-junction (on the outskirts of Chervalanges).
6/ Turn right, then left 20 m further on. Descend, skirt the Tyx and cross it. Go up along a wood on your left. Join a wide track, follow it to the left to return to Condat.
