Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

/ From the start sign (between the cemetery and the church), walk past the church (église) and down rue du Roy Louis. Opposite a cross, turn right down chemin de la Garde to the stream.

/ Cross the bridge and turn left. Continue along this path to a T-junction. Turn left, and at the next junction, go straight ahead. Turn right into rue du Treix. At the end of the street, turn left and, at the fountain, immediately right into rue de Châtel. Go up rue des Aigaux and continue along the path. At the crossroads of 4 paths (view of the villages of Teilhède and Prompsat, the Limagne plain), go straight ahead. Reach a T-junction on the plateau. Turn left and continue until you reach an inverted fork at the entrance to the wood.

/ Continue along the track and go straight ahead at the next junction. Stay on the main path until you reach a crow's-foot at the end of the wood. Go down the middle path and keep to the right until you reach a crossroads below the hamlet of Le Bouquet.

/ Go straight ahead. Under the hamlet of Les Briffons, leave the track and turn right. Descend into the woods on a stony track before fording the stream. At the next crossroads, keep right until you reach a crossroads with 4 paths, past a hunters' hut. Leave the wide track to go down a tree-lined path to the right. At the next crossroads, at the first houses, cross the small tarmac road and follow the path opposite, then turn left between the houses to reach the road. Follow the road to the right for 30 m, then turn right towards the cross. After 100 m, take the left-hand path down to the road, which you turn left onto. Turn right before the cemetery to return to the starting point.
