Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

/ Opposite the start sign, turn left, cross the parking lot and go straight down to a crossroads. Turn left onto a wide track. As you descend (with views of the Puy de Dôme and the Allier valley), turn left at the intersection. At the next two crossroads, go straight on, then turn left. Follow the road downhill for 50 m, then turn left onto a wide track. Stay on this main track, ignoring the side paths, until you reach a road (carved cross). Turn left to reach the entrance to Soulasse.

/ Go up the Grande rue, then the rue des Chaumes (winegrowers' houses, fountain, wash-house). At the top of the steps, fork left for 20 m and take the path leading up to the right. After 50 m, turn right again, following the path. At the fork, turn left (view of the Sancy and the Chaîne des Puys). Continue to the crossroads.

/ Climb left; at the fork, continue right. At the quarry, turn left towards the edge of the plateau. Go through a grove and, at the exit, turn right, then left at the fork onto the wide path across the plateau. Turn right and follow the path winding through the archaeological site. Turn right, then left at the next crossroads, and follow the road to the barrier near the sports field.

/ Go through it to the ruin. Go left along the cliff (view of the Allier valley), pass the barrier. After 50 m, turn right down the steep path to Corent village. At the road, turn left and continue straight ahead to reach the starting point.
