Description
The road leading to this pass is little-known to cyclists, yet offers a splendid balcony overlooking the Aravis mountain range. Once you've reached the Col des Annes, you're in the birthplace of the famous farmhouse Reblochon cheese.
This itinerary offers unique views of the Pointe Percée and the Aravis chain from the road and the small alpine hamlet of Col des Annes.
Bike rentals : in the village center of Le Grand-Bornand, there are stores offering VAE and road bike rentals.

Tricky passages
The climb is tough, with sections at over 12%.
Watch out for water spouts across the road on the descent below the Col des Annes.
Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
Route description : from the Grand-Bornand tourist office, take the D4 towards Vallée du Bouchet / Col des Annes. At the Chapel des Plans, turn left onto the Col des Annes road. Follow the road to the hamlet of Col des Annes.
At the col, turn around and follow the route in the opposite direction to Le Grand-Bornand.
