La fée d'Argouges

Start off from the car park behind the church. Cross the two bridges then take the path on the right towards the road RD 153.

Head left. At the crossroads (RD 169) continue straight on and follow the path to Bayeux. - You can make a detour (1.6 miles) to the centre of Bayeux, following the walk along the river Aure via rue André Malraux.

Turn right. Walk along the Argouges school located on your left. At the junction with rue de Beauvais take rue G.Bizet opposite you, ignoring the service roads to the housing estates and continue to the next crossroads.

At the crossroads, turn right into rue Baron Gérard and continue until you reach the hamlet of « le Gibet ». Follow the path to the picnic area.

At the junction with the road RD 169, turn right, walk a further 50 yards then take the first path on the left. Continue for about 0.6 miles.

At the next junction, turn right and follow the road for about 400 yards until you reach the hamlet of « Beauvais ». Then take the first path on your left. Continue until you come out onto the road RD 153. - You can make a detour to Argouges Manor House: at the junction with the RD 153, turn left and walk for about 600 yards.

At the junction with the RD 153, turn right and follow the road for about 600 yards. Take the path on your left and continue for 800 yards. Turn left into promenade du Père Rotz and return to your starting point.
