Access to the waterfall is closed due to falling rocks. Located a few minutes’ walk from downtown Magland, the Orlier Waterfall cascades down the cliff from Arâches/Les Carroz.

Near the lakes and in a beautiful, landscaped green setting, you'll find plenty of facilities for your leisure activities.Thyez is home to two lakes: one is reserved for fishing and the other for swimming. Swimming is permitted during the summer months under the supervision of two certified lifeguards. The sandy beach, which is cleaned and maintained daily during the summer, will delight visitors of all ages. Water quality is monitored regularly. It is in the fishermen’s lake—fed by a canal—that visitors of all ages can cast their lines to catch trout, pike, or other varieties of fish. Don’t forget your fishing license! You can purchase one at any of the four tourist information offices in the area (Cluses, Mont-Saxonnex, Le Reposoir, Romme). The site also offers other facilities available free of charge, such as: picnic tables, barbecues, a children’s playground, a skate park, a mogul field, a fitness trail with exercise equipment, ping-pong tables, volleyball and badminton courts, and pétanque courts... You’ll also find 18 secure individual bike shelters nearby (don’t forget your bike lock).
