1/ Place des écoles 0 h (540 m)
Reach the top of the square and walk around the building along the street, which rises quickly. At the last houses, go straight ahead along the path that climbs to the top of the hill.
2/ hamlet of Laffitte 0 h 10 (620 m)
At the crossroads, turn right and continue along the road as far as the last chalets to take the path down to the right towards Idrein. At the top of a short climb, go around the barn to continue along the right-hand side of the path.

This path takes you without difficulty to
4/ hamlet of Idrein 0 h 40 (690 m)
At the first house, go slightly right and then right again at the crossroads. After a few metres, fork left towards Bordes.
The descent is steep and awkward on bare rock, but becomes more pleasant once you reach the stream.
5/ Bordo Blanco 1 h 10 (600 m)
You are at the crossroads of the Bethmale road, which you must cross to ‘plunge’ down towards the village of Bordes. Be careful, as the road is very busy. You will soon reach the cemetery and the
6/ Bordes church 1 h 15 (580 m)
The path continues to the right and joins the Sentein/Castillon road at a bend (take care with children!). Continue to the right, pass the town hall and turn left at the bridge over the river.
7/ Chapelle d'Ourjout 1 h 25 (560 m)
On the right, at the corner of the wash-house, the route continues along the river towards the hamlet of Aulignac. Keep left at the first fork (Chalet Montplaisir), then right at the next one. The tarmac track becomes a wide path that runs alongside the lake and joins the main road.

Turn right down the road and follow it as far as the
