Description
Departure from the town hall car park. This route takes you through the heart of the Bresse bocage and its farms, many of them half-timbered. The Domaine de Mareste is located after the 6th km on the right at the junction with the D46.
Along this route you can admire the buildings of the Bresse region, in particular the Mareste estate, the oldest part of which dates back to the XIᵉ or XIIᵉ century. Former hunting lodge and outbuildings of the Château de Mareste built by the Knights of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. Private estate!
