Snowshoe trail - The Lac Blanc dike

The circuit de la digue du lac, is the only circuit that allows you to have a beautiful view of Lac Blanc from its dike. Accessible, it's ideal for families or lovers of forest walks and beautiful landscapes.
You'll head for Chemin des Immerlins via the "pedestrian walk", the markings to follow are the blue circle with a B. Once you've arrived at the Auberge du Blancrupt, you'll pass the Nordic ski cash desk and continue on your way.
Arrived in the forest, the atmosphere changes, you're surrounded by fir trees and rocks, relics of a very distant ice age.
After a few hundred meters you'll come across a Nordic ski trail, so be careful not to walk in the tracks and follow the markings. A descent into the forest follows, the path becomes narrower, between conifers and small deciduous trees, the atmosphere differs.
You'll come across the Nordic trails again, so stay alert! Head for the lake dike and back. You'll be able to admire this magnificent expanse of water surmounted by the Virgin on her rocky promontory. The return trip to the lake's dyke is a must.
The return to the Auberge du Blancrupt is via a forest track. A short, winding climb through the Lac Blanc accro-branche park ends this acclimatization. Head for the Col du Calvaire to finish off your walk in the heart of the pastures!
