Excursion familiale en canoë kayak dans le marais du Vanneau par Romain Gaillard

The route I propose is relatively simple to follow. It's a 6 km loop, starting and finishing at the same place: the port of Vanneau. If you have a river map of the Marais Poitevin, you'll find it even easier to follow the signs, thanks to the square wooden posts (with location numbers) at many intersections. It's possible to follow the route in any direction, but my detailed directions below are in the "Bief du Vanneau" direction first. This canoe/kayak itinerary will take you along the main conches of this part of the marsh and allow you to discover the area?s major points of interest: the Vanneau harbour, its footbridge and communal gardens, the large La Garette channel, the Belette rope and its market garden houses?
