As hazards may occur at any time on the routes, the GPX tracks provided are not contractual. They are provided for information only. Riders use them at their own risk, depending on their level of technological proficiency and their understanding of the terrain.
Technical difficulty: The Chemin du Petit Bonheur is not technically demanding, as most of it is on a wide, passable track. A few places may pose a problem for beginners, but these are very short sections that do not require long portages. Be careful, the section between La Norma is really technical and requires good downhill skills.
Physical difficulty: The Chemin du Petit Bonheur is easier in the Bonneval-sur-Arc - Modane direction, as the route is mostly downhill, with very few ascents. Taken in its entirety, the distance is still considerable. On the other hand, taken in sections, the Chemin du Petit Bonheur offers distances of between 2km and 9km between villages. Ideal for tailor-made stages!
