Elisabeth Laurelot, the time adventurer

At Le Reposoir village, you are the companions of the monk John from Spain and have to help him fight the obscure forces and unveil the secret of the village. You have to build here an heaven of peace for the centuries to come. But are you brave enough ?Aim of the game : Thanks to a digital tablet lend by the Tourist Office of Le Reposoir, you will go in the village to rise to challenges to help John from Spain accomplish his quest. What is the difference with the Great Loop ? This loop last 1hr45mins and is 3.2 km long. There are 4 less challenges. The great loop lasts 3hrs and is 4.5 km long. This Short Loop is ideal for the youngest or people who doesn't want to walk for a long time. Last appointment for the Short Loop : 4pm. How to play : Come and get you digital tablet at Le Reposoir Tourist Office. It contains the story and the map of the game.It is the tablet that will allow you to solve the mysteries in the game and guide you. Shall I book my tablet ? The tourist office has a limited number of tablets. It is better to book your tablet to be sure to play when you arrive in the village. The route : The path begins at the Le Reposoir Tourist Office and follows a loop in the village that will take you to the Carmel (an old monastry you will be able to visit) and in the forest before taking you back to your starting point. There is no major difficulty. A part is under the sunlight without any shadow and can be hot in summer. It is required to be in a good physical condition and wear hiking or sport shoes.

Built in the XIVth century by Nicod Festi, it is dedicated to the Burgundian king Sigismond.In 1471, Antoine Noblet took in charge the refurbishment and extension of the building. From this Gothic era, we only have left the little side door with 3 pointed arch. A stoup in his tribute is visible behind the presbytery. Refurbished at the beginning of the XIXth century by the priest Rouge, it will impress you with all its ornaments and details : onion-shaped steeple, baroque and neoclassic altars, Gothic porch, cupola... A fresco representing the king Sigismond as a martyr could never be completed for the painter died before he finished it. Inside, in the place where the transept usually represent the 4 elements dominated by the sky, the sculptor decided to represent the 4 Gospels : Matthew with a sculpture of a winged man, Mark with a lion, Luke with a winged steer, and John with an eagle. The church is closed to the public besides the masses but a request can be done at the city hall.
