Laon tour: the crown circuit

Situated on a hillock, Laon is a veritable acropolis, a town perched on a natural eminence and surrounded by a fortified wall. It is also known as the "Crowned Mountain", as the upper town is adorned with these walls and its cathedral.
This tour invites you to explore the seven kilometers or so of ramparts that surround it, because even though they were pierced during the 18th and 19th centuries to facilitate mobility, the city still retains its walls, many of whose edges have been converted into promenades... Let's set off to conquer - peacefully this time - the ramparts of Laon!
