Hiking tour - The necropolis in Sigolsheim

This easy walk, starting from Sigolsheim, takes you to the heights of the vineyard and in particular to the Grand Cru du Mambourg hillside. Reach the necropolis, a site not to be missed to immerse yourself in the military past of the valley. 1,601 bodies of soldiers who "died for France" during the Second World War are buried there.
The Necropolis is also a place to enjoy a 360° view of the Alsatian plain, the Black Forest and the Vosges mountains. On a clear day, you can even see the Bernese Alps.
