Description
Nearby is the Romanian military cemetery of Gauchmatt. You can have refreshments on the way back at the Langenstein menhir.
The Val du Pâtre Chapel is dedicated to the Virgin Mary since the 13th century and is a Mecca of scouting. The military cemetery of Gauchmatt is the only Romanian cemetery for 687 Romanian soldiers taken prisoner by the Germans during the war of 1914-18.
