Circuit Gravel 54 km les Contreforts du Jura Alsacien

This beautiful gravel circuit in Alsace's upper Sundgau region begins at the Ferrette media library. It first crosses the heights of the bucolic village of Bendorf to reach Winkel, where you can make a detour to the source of the Ill.

From here, the route leads to Ligsdorf via a forest track, up to Sondersdorf and then on to Oltingue. It then becomes more gentle as far as Muespach, as it follows signposted cycle route no. 6.

Once on the heights of Muespach, you descend to Waldighofen on a short stretch of white road. The route takes you to Ruederbach along the Ill valley cycle path. The route then follows farm tracks up to the foot of the Alsatian Jura at Koestlach. The loop ends with the Ferrette climb back to the starting point.
