








A wine-growing commune situated on the Route des Vins at an altitude of 250 m, it currently has a population of 1,080. Ribeauvillé is 9 km away and Riquewihr 11 km. Numerous local shops provide easy access to supplies. There are hotels and restaurants, as well as bed & breakfasts and furnished apartments.
Local winegrowers offer cellar tours and tastings. The town is famous for its Pinot Noir, the 'Rouge de Saint-Hippolyte'.
At the foot of Haut-Koenigsbourg, this very typical village, with its beautiful flowers, is the ideal base for exploring the surrounding tourist sites.
