Description
An easy and surprising walk starting from the town of Cernay, which takes you to the heights of the village of Steinbach.
The route takes in the chapel of Saint-Morand, patron saint of winegrowers, which overlooks the Steinbach vineyards and the Alsace plain. There are wonderful views along the way, from the Molkenrain and Hartmannswillerkopf in the Vosges mountains to the Black Forest and the Swiss Jura in fine weather.
It's a very pleasant walk. The best thing about it is that it starts in the town centre and is a welcome change of scenery.
