Between Strasbourg and Colmar, the Grand Ried Plain is ideal for discovery tours by bike. You will be enchanted by the natural wealth and preserved habitats. One of the local specialities is the “Matelote”, an Alsatian dish with a long history. Traditionally, this fish stew is made up of fresh water fish such as pike, eel, pike-perch and tench. It is simmered in Alsace white wine and served with noodles. Each restaurant has its own traditional recipe.
