The hills of Dornach

Building from the 1880s located on the first railway line in Alsace (Mulhouse-Thann line created in 1839). Since 2011, it is also a station of the tram 3 (Mulhouse-Lutterbach) and the tram-train (Mulhouse-Thann).

Built by the architect Jean-Baptiste Schacre in 1851. Abandoned for worship since the 2nd World War and acquired by the City of Mulhouse. In the adjacent Rue des Juifs, old houses from the early 19th century

Protestant and Catholic cemetery. Established in 1841 on the Lerchenberg hill.

Located after the Rue du Ravin (an old Roman road) and the Croix Bleue, this garden city is one of the first HLM (176 housing units) dating from 1929-30. In the centre of the housing estate, Place Alexandre Ribot, the creator of the Crédit foncier du pauvre (1908 law).

This church was built in 1962 in pre-stressed concrete in the shape of a shell.

Created in 1961 in the university ZUP (priority urbanisation zone) on the land of the former Illberg farm.

Thermal power station (1962) and water tanks (2 x 10,000m3) built in 1964.

Complex of 3 towers with residences and shops, completed in 2012.

3500 dwellings in the residential ZUP (1965-75), with tram stops "Coteaux" (terminus) and "Nations".

In memory of the battle of 19 August 1914, when the French recaptured Mulhouse for the second time since the start of the war (3 August 1914), but not for long.

Former vineyard, urbanised from the 1900s.

This wood belonged to Jean Dollfus (owner of DMC around 1850 and Mayor of Mulhouse from 1863 to 1869).

With its small old workers' houses and its narrow sloping streets, this area dating from the beginning of the 19th century is sometimes called "the little Montmartre" (see explanatory panel at the beginning of rue de Ballersdorf).
