Walking tour: Path of the Hoftname

The municipality wishes to promote the historical heritage of Kilstett and the Alsatian dialect by promoting the "Hoftname". The names of the Kilstet houses, most often from their former owners, are still very often used, but their history is often unknown. In order to make them known to all and to avoid their disappearance, the municipality has started an educational program explaining the names of some "Hoftname" and their origins. In front of each house (10 in total), a panel illustrated with an old photo of the property, explains the origins of the "Hoftname".
