Description
A former fortified town in the Middle Ages, Cernay has preserved several remains from that period. The streets of the town centre still follow the Hippodamian grid layout of the old town. This walk will allow you to discover its heritage and history. Specialised in the textile industry in the 19th century, Cernay is now an important economic and industrial hub in the region.
