The chapel dates from the second half of the 17th century. The coat of arms of Martin Draeck, abbot of Gembloux during this period, is embedded in an inner wall. Saint Adele is invoked to cure eye problems.
This 19th century building contains elements from the 13th century, such as its keep, which was part of the defensive system of the Duchy of Brabant against the County of Namur. The same applies to the chapel dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul.
