Circuit des trois rivières et des trois viaducs

Cette bâtisse construite durant le XVIè siècle, est un relais de poste où arrivaient des diligences tirées par plusieurs chevaux qui sillonnaient sans cesse la route Limoges-Toulouse.

Fondée en 1060, l'église possède les reliques de St Côme et St Damien. C'est une paroisse ostensionnaire. Caractéristique unique en France, la porte en bois de style Renaissance est ornée depuis 1838, de 18 plaques de porcelaine émaillées «  bleu de four ».

Ce site est né il y a 2000 ans au cours du premier siècle de l'ère chrétienne. Le pays vit alors dans la paix sous la dynastie des Antonins, c'est la Pax Romana, elle va durer trois siècles. Site accessible de Avril à Octobre. Visite guidée sur réservation.

Welcome to Pierre Buffière, a village with a strong identity and an extraordinary past. And that's why I'm here! This square, beautifully enhanced by its ancient cedar tree, is the site of the former cemetery. It was named after Adeline, the daughter of Pierre-Buffière-born surgeon Baron Dupuytren. When Baron Dupuytren died, he bequeathed 50,000 Francs to his native town to build a fountain bearing the name of his daughter, Adeline.
