L'Alpette, Lake Carrelet loop

A walk offering a 100% change of scenery, just a few minutes away from Oz! Accessible to all, this track is signposted and entirely secured. All along the circuit, enjoy the stunning panorama over Belledonne and Grandes Rousses montain ranges.

The starting point of the hike is easily accessible from Oz en Oisans resort by taking the Alpette cable car. In just a few minutes, you find yourself at 2000 m of altitude, on the magnificent Lakes Plateau. Parallel to the cross-country track and close to the ski slopes, the Alpette walk allows you to join your friends, skiers or snowboarders.

From the gondola follow the pedestrian path down to Lac Carrelet, then follow the pedestrian path that goes around the Lake to go up to the Dôme des Rousses cable car.
