Walking itinerary: from Montriond Lake to Ardent Waterfall

The majestic Ardent waterfall high above Montriond village is half-way between Lake Montriond and Les Lindarets. It's emblematic of the valley, with its spectacular setting that captures the magic and splendour of the area.Just a stone's throw from Lac de Montriond, the Cascade d'Ardent is the starting point for an attractive forest trail from a bridge over the listed waterfall.

The restaurant « Hôtel du Lac » offers, for lunch and dinner, a pleasant time with great food. The chef’s cooking, made with exceptional products, will delight everyone, young and old alike.You can have a taste of a regional specialty (Raclette) as well as fish from lakes, and discover the local gastronomy thanks to the menus presented. OUR FREE TAXI SERVICE Yes, it sounds too good to be true, but when you book to dine at Hotel du Lac this winter, we’ll offer you a free taxi from your accommodation to dinner, and we’ll return you home again at the end of your evening. Here’s how that works… Our free taxi service runs Monday to Friday, 6pm-midnight. Taxis are subject to availability but if you add your requirements to the comments box when you book your table. Children are welcome to the “Hôtel du Lac” restaurant. Everything is planned for them: highchairs, kids-adapted menu, outside and inside games, a slide, a swing, table tennis … New playground 100m away from the hotel.
