Opening subject to snow conditions.

A lovely forest hike above the village of Le Reposoir. Between paths and snow-covered fields, you'll climb up to the Forclaz mountain pastures, where a superb panorama awaits you. An authentic route to discover the local heights.
The trail winds pleasantly through snow-covered fields. During this section, you'll cross the road several times, so be sure to follow the signs and take the opposite path each time. Along the way, you'll pass a charming oratory, a testament to the local heritage. Get your calves ready for the next section: the Bellegarde climb. This section is steeper and requires a sustained effort, but the beauty of the scenery rewards the effort. Continue up to "Planzury". At Planzury, turn right towards La Forclaz. The atmosphere changes: you now join a wide forest track. Progress here is steadier and more comfortable, climbing gently but surely through the alpine meadows to the authentic chalets of La Forclaz, the end of your ascent.
Return: the descent takes the same route.
Closed temporarily.
