
A shaded, secluded hike that lets you explore the area around the village of Bellaffaire. A shaded trail winds through pine forests. Along the way, be sure to visit the “talking rock,” hidden behind the cemetery.
From the town hall square in Bellaffaire (870 m), take the alley on the right. After the last house, follow the descending trail. 200 m further on, you’ll reach the junction with the start of the loop.
At Pré du Clot (830 m), head left down this trail to the entrance of a bridge over the Riou Clair. Just before the bridge, turn right into the woods to quickly reach the D 951 after crossing a ford.
Immediately on the right, a section of trail joins the D 301.
Follow this road downhill for 200 m.
Take the trail on the right, which quickly turns into a footpath. After the junction with a trail coming from Bréziers, head due north through a pine forest.
At a place called Les Barres (910 m), take the trail on the right across the fields.
Cross the road and continue along the trail to reach the Malecombe ravine, then head back up toward the junction.

From Tallard (21 km), take the D 942, then the D 900B to Remollon. Just past the village, take the D 951 to Bréziers and Bellafaire.
