This route circles around Peydés, a small peak rising to an elevation of 1,118 meters, and offers an escape from all traces of civilization. It follows trails exclusively, and its length is what makes it challenging.
From the starting point, stay on the same road heading due north. Shortly after, the road turns into a dirt track and continues until you reach the next signpost marked “La grange Dès.”
At the signpost, turn left and continue straight ahead until you reach the next one marked “Le Jas.”
When you reach the sign, turn right until you reach the next one named “Forêt de la Méouge.”
At the signpost, continue straight ahead to the Col de la Crousette.
At the Col de la Crousette, take the trail farthest to the right to return to point #2. After that, all that’s left is to head back down to the starting point.
Let’s limit our trips and use public transportation and carpooling: zou.maregionsud.fr
