This estate, on the edge of a lake, offers comfortable, unusual and unusual accommodation for a different kind of vacation!At the crossroads of Bresse, Burgundy, Mâconnais, Dombes, Bugey and Lyon, and ideally located 5 minutes from exit 10 of the A39 (le jura) and very close to the A6, you'll be staying at Saint-Nizier-le-Bouchoux, in a shady, relaxing estate. Whether you're a family, a couple or a group of friends, for a short or long stay, you'll be seduced by the charm of our wooded estate. You'll be able to recharge your batteries or go fishing on the banks of the lake that runs alongside the campsite, combining relaxation with cultural and gastronomic discoveries of our beautiful region. With family or friends, the Mépillat lake is ideal for walks and picnics around the shady banks. The lake is full of carp, tench, perch and minnows which are excellent for frying!Enjoy the peace and quiet of a day at the water's edge, and discover the many ponds and rivers in our region. Haute Bresse covers the valley of the Reyssouze, a natural border, and is the precursor to the other Bresse regions of the Jura and Burgundy. A great loop to discover this region between the Reyssouze and northern Bresse.Two tourist highlights are the Bresse village of St Trivier de Courtes, with its medieval remains and brick architecture, and the Domaine de Mépillat with its lake and campsite. A stroll on any path from sunrise to sunset and vice versa to enjoy the serene Bresse countryside, with its farms, horses, poultry, meadows and panoramic views....
