The Lac des Bariousses in Treignac (99 hectares) is the ideal destination for a relaxing or active day out with family or friends on a shaded beach that has been awarded the Blue Flag since 2013. On site, you will find a beach with supervised swimming and a first-aid station, picnic tables, children's games, a volleyball court, a boules court, a snack bar and an ice cream parlour, Le Barriou's. You can also stay opposite the lake at a 3-star campsite. The beach is accessible to all thanks to its disabled access (tapiroul and a TIRALO® amphibious bathing chair). The Vézère-Monédières Nature Sports Centre offers an Aqua Park, canoe and kayak hire, stand-up paddle boards, pedalos, electric fishing boats and bicycles. You can also try your hand at all kinds of nature sports.

We are delighted to welcome you for our 1st season at Camping du Lac de Viam in Corrèze. Surrounded by forests, with direct access to the beach, the campsite offers 45 shaded pitches for tents, vans, caravans and motorhomes with electric hook-ups, and we also rent 5 mobile-homes for 4/5 people. The campsite is equipped with a men's sanitary block, a women's sanitary block with WC and showers, a washing-up area and a separate sanitary block for people with reduced mobility with WC, washbasin and shower. A snack bar is open in high season. Swimming is supervised by a lifeguard during the summer months, and there's a children's play area (badminton net, table tennis, swing, etc.). An ideal place for the amateurs of green tourism. We welcome you on 80 spacious and shaded pitches from April 1st to September 30th. The campsite is also equipped with 6 chalets, 12 mobile homes, 14 mini-chalets, 2 Mongolian yurts and 2 natural canvases for rent from March to the beginning of October. On site : covered and heated SWIMMING POOL, snack bar, games, fitness equipment, mini golf, TV room, multi-sports room, tennis court, petanque court, relaxation room with billiards, table soccer and ping pong. Since the dawn of time, water has been assigned symbolic, magical and spiritual values. It's easy to imagine the mysterious questions that springs can raise, those places where water seems to rise from the earth for no reason at all. The Longy fountain is one of three Bonnes Fontaines, or healing fountains, to be found around Sornac.

On the last buttresses of the Plateau of Millevaches, between Sarsonne and Diège, Ussel, city of Ventadour illustrates well the medieval past of Corrèze. Churches and houses of XVIe and XVIIe centuries. Church Saint-Martin with choir and Romanesque chevet of XIIe century, chapel of the Blue Penitents with retable of XVIIIe centuries of Paul Delimosin. Houses of the 16th and 17th centuries: residence of the Dukes of Ventadour, house of the communal priests (17th century), Soubise tower (14th-15th centuries). Situated at an altitude of 789 m and towering 350 m above the town of Bort-les-Orgues, the Orgues de Bort are formed by phonolite flows, the ends of which are cut into columns 80 to 100 m high, over a length of 2 km. These gigantic organ pipes, shaped by time, are the result of shrinkage cracks formed when the lava cooled. The Orgues de Bort are considered the best observatory in the Auvergne. Opposite this prestigious balcony are the Monts Dore range, the Artense plateau, the grassy ridges of the Cézallier and the Massif Central. Volcanic flows originate from the Puy de Bort (860 m), the highest point in the region. Tête de l'Homme site. Grotte des Orgues (Orientation tables: Panorama, ** Michelin). 11 km northwest of Bort-les-Orgues, on D. 979. Religious complex comprising a fanum, a small annex and three altars. Unrestricted access. Access to the site via the "2000 ans d'histoire vous regardent" hiking trail starting from the church.

On the D168, 12km southeast of Neuvic. Located on the Ajustants tourist route, Le Belvédère offers a superb view of the confluence of the Dordogne and Sumène rivers, and of the Aigle dam reservoir, built between 1935 and 1945. A picnic area is available on site.

In the upper Dordogne valley, the Saint-Projet suspension bridge spans the river Dordogne in a single span of 195 metres. It links the communes of Neuvic in Corrèze and the department of Cantal. The old bridge, built in the 19th century, was replaced by a new one in 1945 when the Aigle dam was built between 1941 and 1945, as the old one had been drowned by the dam's retention.

Our camping service area is open from April to November. It is located on the shores of Lac de Feyt and comprises 8 delimited 35m2 pitches. Next to the service area, you'll find a water and electricity supply point, as well as an emptying station for your waste water. You can also take advantage of the bread deposit service every morning in July and August. Overnight parking is regulated. On arrival, please report to the campsite reception. From December to March, the service area is open but not chargeable, and the bollard is in winter storage, so cannot be used.

Access to the beach via the Lac de Feyt campsite. Follow the "beach" signs, do not walk on the tent/caravan pitches and keep your dog on a leash. Canoe rental 10?/h, stand-up paddle 10?/h, pedal boats 15?/h. Electric mountain bike hire 25? for 1/2 day. Supervised swimming with inflatable games only in July and August. Nestled on the banks of the Dordogne, Argentat sur Dordogne was for centuries a great trading port From the Lestourgie quay, the barges loaded with wood, leather and oil left You will take great pleasure in strolling along the old-fashioned cobbled quays to admire the fishermen's houses topped with lauze, the noble facades and their turrets. Rue Sainte-Claire has some beautiful residences, such as the Hôtel de Turenne.

A medieval town on the right bank of the Dordogne, Beaulieu has been dubbed "one of the most beautiful villages in France", thanks to its mild climate, ideal for growing strawberries. Beaulieu's main attraction is its remarkable Saint-Pierre abbey church, whose portal, a masterpiece of Romanesque art depicting the return of Christ at the end of time, is comparable to that of Moissac. Stroll through the narrow streets, compare the turreted facades, decorated with medallions and cherubs, like the house of Adam and Eve, and dream of the Chapelle des Pénitents and its bell-wall reflected in the waters of the Dordogne. Nearby, you can board a gabare from May to October, to relive the epic story of the gabariers who sailed down to Libourne to deliver their loads of wood for the Bordeaux cooperage.

A must on any trip to the Dordogne Valley! Don't miss the Saint-Pierre abbey church, with its finely sculpted Romanesque tympanum. You can also take a gabare trip (booking required), and admire the chapelle des pénitents near the quays. In May, you can take part in the strawberry festival, a not-to-be-missed event in the region. The medieval village of Curemonte is built lengthwise on a rocky spur in the south of Corrèze. The density of the military buildings, the three castles and the noble houses bear witness to the importance of the town between the 14th and 17th centuries. At the time, the town enjoyed extensive franchises as part of the Viscounty of Turenne. Raymond de Curemonte took part in the First Crusade alongside the Viscount of Turenne. His descendants later built the Château de Saint-Hilaire. This is the oldest castle, with its 15th-century main building and two square machicolated towers. They were gradually supplanted by the Plas family, who occupied another château. Their château is distinguished by its 16th-century round towers. The Escaravage family moved to a third site at La Johannie. Take the time to explore the town on foot, although you won't be able to visit any of the castles.

Collonges-la-Rouge offers an original and unusual sight, as much for the flamboyance of its stones as for the richness of its heritage. The red of the sandstone and the ochre-colored slate, the blue-gray of the slate and the green of the vines clinging to the walls form the palette of this dreamy little town. From the 16th century onwards, Collonges became the residence of the officials of the Viscounty of Turenne and the jurists of the châtellenie, hence the presence of numerous castels and pepper-pot towers. In the 19th century, as the town fell into a state of lethargy, the mayor of the time, Charles Ceyrac, launched the idea of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France", with Collonges being the first village to be awarded the label! Your visit will be punctuated by the discovery of the 11th-century church fortified during the Wars of Religion, the 13th-century chapel of the Penitents

Turenne does not lack panache with the slender silhouette of its limestone keep, an avalanche of slate roofs and bold turrets. You will be amazed by the richness of the heritage: the church and its gilded wooden altarpiece, the private mansions of the 16th and 17th centuries, to be admired by following the signposted itinerary so as not to miss any of them. And of course the castle, or rather its imposing ruins: the ramparts, the 13th century keep and the Caesar Tower. From the top, the panorama is unforgettable!

Nazareth is a tiny 14th-century village on the Chemins de St Jacques and Rocamadour. You can see : - Near the church, an interpretation panel explains the village?s "crusader" origins - A low opening in the façade gave each house access to the outcropping water. - One house features a staircase with a double sink on the landing (18th century) - A 12th-century ex-voto chapel is dedicated to Our Lady of Nazareth. - An unusual story is told on an interpretation panel at the far end of the village, recounting the creation of a Kibbutz from 1933 to 1935. - A few kilometers away is the Suspins camp, inhabited by the maquis during WW2. - Leaving the village towards Jugeals, the church of St Gilles houses a fresco and paintings from the 15th century - A bread oven in Jugeals

If it is said to be "gaillarde", it is probably for two reasons: coquettish and valiant, it was also a fortified town in the Middle Ages, when Gaillard meant "fortified". A welcoming, sunny town, it is adorned with a very rich historical centre, an astonishing "lighthouse-water tower" and a magnificent palette of flower gardens. Situated on a hill (320 m), on the borders of the Limousin and the Périgord, Saint-Robert has preserved a medieval character which makes it one of the 'most beautiful villages of France'. It was the setting for the television series based on the novels of Claude Michelet. Of the Romanesque church, only the choir and the transept remain. The nave was destroyed during the Wars of Religion. Next to the octagonal bell tower, above the crossing, there is a polygonal lantern for the dead and a square defensive tower added in the 16th century. Saint-Robert has a very medieval charm with its old stately homes, its narrow streets and the remains of fortified gates. It was the seat of a Court of Appeals.

The village of Concèze lies on the D901 between Juillac and Pompadour. It is famous for its raspberry festival, which takes place on the 2nd Sunday in July. 1 concrete pitch with street lighting. Pompadour is a small town famous for its castle, a gift from Louis XV to his favourite Jeanne Le Normant d'Etiolles, and also for its National Stud and its Mare Mare House, unique in France. Pompadour is the cradle of the Anglo-Arabian breed and since 1976 has had a Horse Institute and hosts renowned horse shows. Gallop, cross-country and steeplechase races are held from the last weekend of June to September on the racecourse, which is reputed to be one of the most beautiful in France. The majestic facade of the castle invites you to go back in time to discover the Marquise's world. The visit continues with the Marquise's stables and the Orangery stables where it is possible to see Anglo-Arabs, draft horses and the presidential horses. Equestrian shows and cabarets are now part of the key events of the summer.

The origin of this fortified city, coiled in a meander of the Vézère, goes back to the mists of time. The Gauls already lived in Uzerche. In the 10th century, its monastery was very powerful and its Benedictine abbey radiant. The Saint-Pierre abbey, remains a major witness of the Limousin Romanesque art with its typical octagonal bell tower. The city bristling with towers, full of vaulted passages, adorned with houses similar to small castles, forms a remarkable and rare architectural ensemble, hence the proverb "Who has a house in Uzerche has a castle in Limousin". The rehabilitation of the paper mill has given birth to an exceptional cultural center, signed by the architect Jean Michel Wilmotte.
