Description
The next day, Renardo returned to wander around the Hunchback Men's Den. Surprise! there was already another young fox there. They sniffed and liked each other. His new friend, pointing to a wide passage on the right side of the Great Wall, asked him "do you want to go and see the Scheeeeeeeeeee?" and without even waiting for his answer, he led him on the path which passed in front of the Small Den, then went down towards the water-which-doesn't-crawl and then went up a few steps* to enter the Great Rockfall.

Grand Eboulement
Renardo n’avait jamais parcouru pareil chemin, entièrement couvert de pierres. A n’en pas douter c’était un chemin des Hommes, car il avait leur odeur. Pour ça, il n’était pas dur à suivre et c’était drôle de sauter d’une pierre à l’autre. Cela dura un moment puis ils quittèrent le Grand Eboulement.

Alors son ami se retourna vers lui :“chut ! fit-il, à partir de maintenant, c’est plein de Rats-Sans-Queue*…”. En continuant à monter au milieu des champs de Poireaux-Bleus-Brûlants*, ils entendirent souvent la fuite des Rats-Sans-Queue mais ne parvinrent pas à en attraper un seul. Par contre ils gobèrent une foule de Mange-Crottes* qui se traînaient sur le chemin, sur les traces des Bêtes Blanches. Ils parvinrent ainsi jusqu’au passage.
