Description

Ouilly le Vicomte is located on the route of the Touques valley considered as the "backbone" of the Pays d'Auge. This coastal river is a privileged transport axis as much as it is feared, during its recurrent floods, for men and goods between Lisieux and the sea. It even allowed its capital to have been a port at the bottom of the estuary for a while. Observe the panorama, the town of Ouilly-le-Vicomte and the foliage of the park of the Château de Bouttemont on the other side of the railroad, from the path between the Fontaine Verbois and the Bruyère aux Rouliers, above the Lieu Chéri.
