La Fontaine Chaudron (variante)

From the marshes and watercress beds of Bresles to the heart of the splendid forests of Hez-Froidmont, you will alternate between passages on the forest plateau, wide forest tracks and sometimes technical layons to negotiate. Among the most challenging is the Fontaine Chaudron, named after a fountain located near the ancient abbey of Froidmont.

Variant de la fontaine aux Aulnes Take the Chemin Forestier de Froidmont to the left and follow the GR 124. Turn left to leave the GR. Follow the path to Carrefour de la Fontaine aux Aulnes. Follow the Chemin Forestier d?Hondainville for 700 m. Turn left onto the path to catch up with the main itinerary (return to n°11).
