In the heart of a classified natural site, a superb waterfall of about thirty meters on the brook of Pont-Aubert, accessible on foot from the parking lot shortly after the hamlet of Breuil by a yellow marked path (1h A/R). Access by the D16 between Soursac and Mauriac upstream of the Barrage de l'Aigle. Circuit available at the Town Hall of Soursac, at the Tourist Information Offices of Haute Corrèze in Neuvic (all year) a nd Soursac (in July and August).

Once an important site for the construction of "gabares" and the departure point for the "gabariers" who transported loads of wood down the Dordogne to the Bordeaux region. Gabare rides on the Dordogne.

Dans la haute-vallée de la Dordogne, le pont suspendu de Saint-Projet enjambe la rivière Dordogne en une seule travée de 195 mètres de portée. Il relie les communes de Neuvic en Corrèze et d'Auriac dans le Cantal . L'ancien pont construit au XIXe siècle a été remplacé par un nouveau pont en 1945 lors de la construction du barrage de l'Aigle, construit de 1941 à 1945, l'ancien se trouvant noyé par la retenu du barrage.

On the D168, 12km southeast of Neuvic. Situated on the Les Ajustants tourist route, this belvedere offers a splendid view of the confluence of the Dordogne and Sumène rivers.

Malgré une étymologie qui fait de Neuvic un « nouveau bourg » (novus vicus, en latin), l’histoire de la cité est ancienne. Il semblerait que celle-ci soit issue d’un déplacement de population. En tous cas, Neuvic est connue depuis le XIè-XIIè siècles comme une cité dépendante du vicomté de Ventadour, au château impressionnant, et au renom littéraire prestigieux, lié aux troubadours médiévaux. Neuvic a ses fortifications, dont les vestiges se devinent encore dans la plus ancienne rue, ses portes d’entrée, son église, remaniée au XVè après les destructions de la guerre de Cent Ans. Le bourg a aussi sa charte de franchises. Au milieu du XIXè siècle, Neuvic se signale par la présence d’une ferme-école, élément local d’un système d’enseignement agricole voulu par la IIè République. Fondée par Jean-Hyacinthe d’Ussel sur sa ferme des Plaines, il la dirigera jusqu’à sa mort en 1891. Elle sera

The museum has a double vocation: to discover the life and political action of President Queuille and to highlight the action of the Resistance in Haute-Corrèze, in particular the Neuvic maquis. Henri Queuille, mayor of Neuvic for half a century, creator of the SNCF, minister on more than thirty occasions, three times President of the Council under the Fourth Republic, interim President of the Provisional Government of the French Republic, was also a Free Frenchman, called by General de Gaulle to London. The history and actions of the Resistance in Haute-Corrèze are presented to the public through a thematic and chronological progression: the clandestine press, the intelligence networks, sabotage, the Liberation battles and the actions of the maquisards are notably evoked, as well as the actions of reprisals and deportation.

Parc agricole et paysager de 6,5 ha, MH, labellisé "Jardin Remarquable" et "Arbre Remarquable de France" dans un environnement urbain, conçu au début du XIXème. Il allie paysages romantiques à l'anglaise avec pièce d'eau, volière, vallonnements et bosquets, points de vues et perspectives. On y trouve volière de granit, oratoire de pierre, bassin bordé par une funéraire gallo-romaine en granit, kiosque en bois au point culminant du parc. De très beaux arbres constituent un des intérêts du site dont un séquoia, élu arbre de l’année 2017 pour la Nouvelle Aquitaine et un tulipier de Virginie parmi les plus imposants de France. 370 espèces d'arbres ou arbustes sont représentés. Promenade champêtre au long des 3 km d'allées Cathédrale végétale aux 8 troncs, orgues de verdure, couronne de buis et topiaires. Poissons et tortue animent l'étang.

At an altitude of 572 metres, on a rocky spur which dominates the Soudeillette and Vigne gorges by two hundred metres, the Ventadour castle stands with its imposing ruins in a site which evokes both the power of medieval feudalism and the blossoming of courtly love, to which the name of the troubadour Bernard de Ventadour remains attached. The castle site was built in the 11th century and the oldest remains currently preserved date back to the end of the 12th century. The ramparts, the round tower, the seigneurial dwelling and the chapel of Saint-Georges can still be seen today. The castle commanded the Viscounty of Ventadour, the towns of Ussel and Egletons. For more than a century (12th - 13th century), the castle of Ventadour was a centre of artistic creation, one of the most important in Occitan countries.
