What a pleasure it is to soar above Morlaàs on this undulating route! It's a great privilege to leave the hustle and bustle behind and quickly find yourself in the peace and quiet of the heights. The view over Pau from this path is beyond compare.

From Place de la Hourquie, go up Rue de la Hourquie and after the roundabout, go towards the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, cross the road and turn left. Go up Rue des Frênes, then Rue de Capdessus. Cross the road (be careful of traffic!) opposite the Lycée, and turn right, then left. Go down chemin de Grabasse.
At the crossroads, go back up the lane into a quiet valley. The slope steepens, passes through a hamlet and reaches the Morlaàs road. At the top, turn left, then right, onto chemin Capdebosc (watch out for traffic). Join the Chemin de Langlès at the top of the hill and follow it down to the ridge.
At the bottom of the valley, follow the track to the right that runs alongside the Laaps. This quiet stretch gradually rises. Leave the district on your left and continue upwards on a grassy path. At the junction with the D206, turn right towards Morlaàs.
Walk carefully along the edge of the road, and 100m to the left, turn onto a tarmac lane. At a bend in the road, take the small damp path to the left of a calvary. Pass under the canopy of trees and find a grassy track further down. Turn right and join the Chemin de la Tour ahead. At the large roundabout, turn left (D607) and go straight ahead as far as the car park.
