12th and 13th century church, its construction shows different architectural influences ranging from Romanesque to the height of Gothic architecture. 19th century molten metal replica of a famous statue by Germain Pilon. The original work is kept at the Louvre Museum in Paris and is carved out marble: it was commissioned by Catherine de Medici in 1561 to receive the heart of her late husband, King Henry II.

An unusual feature of Saint-Aubin-surMer, these passageways and little lanes all lead to the sea. The small width of some of the lanes allowed the wind to blow in and to dry the fishing nets hung on the long stone walls that bordered the fishermen’s houses

The first villa was built at the beginning of the 1860s on the dune by the great architect of the National Historical Monuments, Ruprich-Robert.
