VTT Causse de Blandas N°4

Leaving from Blandas.

This is a fairly demanding route, with a few portages! From Blandas, take the road to Le Vigan, then the GR to Le Landre. From there, turn right and follow the road for 1.5 km to La Planas and the start of the PR trail to the hamlet of Navas. At the road, turn right onto the D113a to the Chemin des Morts, where you'll find the GR leading to Montdardier. After passing through the village, once you've crossed the D48, you'll be on the common GTMC route for around 18 km. Just before Rogues, you turn off in the direction of Blandas and the cirque de Navacelles. You will follow the cliff on the GR before taking a small single that will lead you to the pas du loup (the view of the cirque is magnificent) and at the road you will go up on your right the balcony path to Calorouge. At the crossroads, turn right (the GTMC goes left) to enter the Fontaret woods and return to your starting point in Blandas.
