This themed path allows you, with the aid of consoles, to discover the geology of Salève and its curiosities: The Grotte d'Orjobet, the Trou de la Tine, the arches of La Corraterie, the Grès des Rochers de Faverges and a 360° view of Geneva and Mont Blanc.
One of the most difficult paths in Salève due to its length and its incline, including overhead passages. It is aimed at experienced hikers. Walk in the footsteps of Horace Bénédict De Saussure, a Genevan scientist and Alpine explorer who discovered the Grotto of Orjobet and named it after his guide. The departure can also be from Place Amédée VIII de Savoie at the centre of Collonges Sous Salève or from the Town Hall of Bossey. The signposting is that of the departmental charter, wooden post and beige plaques For the geological path follow the "rock crystal" pictograms.
