Description

Watch out for small obstacles along the edge of a farm at the start of the route, and take care on the short stretch along the D10 road further on.

An easy, enjoyable route for the whole family, following quiet country lanes. After leaving the village and passing through Les Granges du Bas and Le Bouchet du Bas, the route continues gently towards Meycilleux Wood, taking you through part of it. On leaving the woods, a swift descent through the countryside brings you back to the starting point.

Notre Dame de Bon Secours

Located in the same place as an old cross called Croix des Rameaux, the statue was ordered by a priest in the neighbouring village who wanted to spread the cult of the Virgin Mary.His name was Abbot Ferrière de Saint Galmier. Some of the locals financed (in donations) the granite pedestal and other parts of the statue.
