Le chalet du Petit Pâtre

Description
A walk in the forest and on the balcony, before heading for the alpine pastures where cows and sheep graze and enjoy the vast panoramic views.
Access: park in the Peray parking lot.
Head for Le Chanté via the Sions balcony.
Once at Le Chanté, follow the signs for Cabane du Petit Pâtre via Les Lanchérus and Les Seythets.
The Chalet du Petit Pâtre, as its name suggests, is both a shelter for the shepherd and for hikers passing through; the view of the Mont-Blanc range is exceptional.
Return down the same path.
VARIATION: the return trip can be done as a loop, and you can head back down in the direction of Tête Noire, then the Peray parking lot. The descent from Tête Noire is quite steep.
